What type of lifter do I need?
What type of Tilt do I need?

Tilts provide the user with easy access to the contents of a box, pallet, stillage, Dolav or other container without the need to bend or stretch. They prevent the back & shoulder strain injuries associated with the repeated emptying or filling of containers and are useful on production lines and in packing areas.

You will find 2 different types of tilt on our Tilts page. The first type has forks that wrap over the legs of the tilt. Both the forks and legs are then inserted under the box pallet. Wrapover Tilts can only be used with open-base containers.

Open base (without bottom runners)

The second type has straddle legs that fit around the crate. The forks are positioned between the legs (the leg width is adjustable for lifting different container sizes). This type of tilt can be used for both open-base and closed-base containers.

Closed base (with bottom runners)

If you require a Side Tilt the same principle applies. For tilting open-base containers, please refer to our wrapover pallet stackers pages for guide prices. For tilting open-base and closed-base containers, please refer to our straddle pallet stackers for guide prices. Please contact us for side tilting fork attachment prices and details.
