Logitrans RL500 Reel Loader, 500kg
When different reels (e.g. foil & paper reels, cylinders) are placed in packing, printing or production machines, this Logitrans Reel Lifter is the perfect choice.
Space is often limited around and under production machinery. The Reel Loader is designed with maximum compactness and manoeuverability in mind - ensuring that your reels can be positioned correctly into printing and packaging machinery, with no lifting required from operators.
The Reel Loader is designed to lift reels in a horizontal position. However for reels positioned vertically (e.g. packed "eye to the sky" on pallets), it can be used in conjunction with a Logitrans Reel Rotator: the vertical reel can be picked up and rotated horizontally, before it is collected by the Reel Loader, then transported and loaded into production machinery.
The Reel Loader uses your machinery's reel axle to lift the load, thus ensuring that the reel can be easily positioned and loaded correctly into the machine. The adjustable reel forks are designed to handle reels to a maximum width of 520mm, a maximum diameter of 1270mm and a maximum weight of 500kg. For larger reels, higher lift heights or a powered reel lifter, customised versions are available (see below example):
